I always loved to take nature pictures, no matter if it was in a spectacular location like Denali National Park in Alaska, the moody and colorful canyon region in Arizona and Utah or the prairies of the Canadian Province Manitoba and Saskatchewan.

Being out in the nature, exploring, taking pictures is the most rewarding part of my job as a travel, nature, wildlife photographer.

Playing with natural light, in nature, can be also very frustrating. I don't know how often I went back to certain places, over and over again, till maybe one day nature cooperates and the light was ok.

Nature does not only has to be photographed during sunset or sunrise. Of course the light is the best, but sometimes I prefer "normal daylight" nothing spectacular, simply to focus on the subject and not on the light.
